Dr. Krasoń on hydrates
I want to give an account of Dr. Jan Krasoń in the study of gas hydrates from the beginning. Unfortunately, I do not remember when Dr. Krasoń visited us in Warsaw, returning from a business trip. However, I remember he spoke about hydrate resources in the Far East and the Black Sea.

Jan Krasoń - a great man from a small town
Will we ever see large-scale shale gas production in Poland? Will Dr. Krason's efforts not be wasted and will his dream of a Polish gas Eldorado come true in the end? Time will tell... A lot depends on us. Today we can, above all, be proud that such a great mind grew up on our land in Żmigród and wants to return to us.

Adam Maksymowicz: Treasures of Żelazny Most
From the beginning of the existence of the Żelazny Most tailings pond, legends circulated that the Japanese wanted to buy it. They were supposed to gain much higher income from it than KGHM from the exploitation of copper ore deposits. However, there was no evidence of this anywhere. Under the pressure of this legend, analyses and research on its development were constantly conducted. There are already about one billion tons of this waste.

Adam Maksymowicz: A radical change in KGHM's policy
Apart from all the commemorative, historical, and memoiristic issues, what draws our attention are the two papers presented here, which demonstrate a radical change in policy on the exploration and development of new copper ore deposits. So far, these were mainly concepts for the purchase of operating and active mines of this raw material in Canada and South and North America. But, as mentioned, a complete change of front has taken place here.
